6 months!

And holy cow - Mia munchkin is 6 months old! She turned 1/2 a year old on Christmas Day. Wow, time sure flies. With both her and Aspen. So I just shared som of Aspen's current favorite things...now I'll share some of Mia's. Mia, too, is an amazing little one. She had a bit of a rough start in this world, but now is so super happy and smiley and just plain adorable. She looks so much like Malo...its insane. Anyway, here are some of Mia's current likes:
*SITTING UP! She just started sitting up on her own on Christmas Day! Good job, Mia.


*ROLLING OVER! She has been rolling over for awhile now, but has recently discovered she can get toys and get closer to where Aspen might be by continuing to roll...so now she's a rolling machine! This girl doesn't sit still for anything - she wants to know what is going on and wants to be a part of everything. She constantly wants to be where Aspen is.




*ASPEN! Aspen seems to be Mia's favorite person. Aspen can get this special smile out of Mia that no one else can - and laughter. Its pretty adorable. Watching the two of them together, they are sisters through and through. I think they must've been the best of friends in the pre-existence and made sure to find their way into the same family so they could be sisters througout all eternity! :)


*DADDY! Of course. Why on earth would any of my kids NOT love their daddy? What's not to love? He's the cutest guy out there...he's sweet, he's fun, he's a bog goof-ball. Mia started babbling with her d sounds last week, and last Saturday started saying dadadadada. Now its constant. And Aspen chimes in whenever Mia starts doing it, so Mia does it more and then all I hear all day long is dadadadadada. :)

*Paper! Mia grabs onto paper (wrapping paper, books, magazines...anything she can get her hands on) and plays with it and laughs with it...and eats it! She's a nut!

*SMILING! Mia smiles SO much! If you look at her, she smiles. If you talk to her, she smiles. If you tickle her or kiss her, she squeals with delight. She is a happy girl and such a joy to have around. Both her and Aspen are complete joys in our lives. And they make us whole. :) Happy half birthday, Mia Buhdia.
