The result of these crackers? Well, to me, they are absolutely horrible! But Aspen, she loves them. She was so excited for her "fish" crackers and hey, at least she'll have a good snack for nursery tomorrow. And maybe this will prevent more sad meltdowns in my girl. However, I am going to continue looking for a better recipe. :)

Yucky goldfish...
So in Aspen's nursery class at church, they have goldfish crackers for a snack EVERY week. I've been bringing things for Aspen to snack on in nursery...things she really likes such as dried fruit, cheese sticks, even marshmallows...just so she has something good. Well, a couple weeks ago, the nursery leaders told me when i went in to pick her up, that when it was snack time, she laid down on the floor and cried and said "fish, fish" while crying because she couldn't have any. Broke my heart. And really, up until a couple months ago, she could have goldfish crackers all she wanted and she's not old enough to understand that it hurts her body and she will never be able to eat them. She's not even two. So anyway, I've been searching trying to find way to make some gluten free goldfish crackers for her...and I came across a couple recipes and this morning we tried one.
