What happened to my BABY??

I laid Mia down for a nap and normally she goes to sleep pretty quickly. Well, after 15 minutes of babbling, I went in to check on her and this is what I found:

What the?!?! How did she figure out how to stand up?!? I figured it was a fluke, so I just laid her back down again....she promptly crawled to the other end of the crib from where I laid her and did this:

So i decided I better move the mattress down so she didn't climb her way out. As I was moving it down (which is not a quick process) I laid her in Aspen's crib in the hopes that she would go to sleep. But, no....this is what she did:

What has happened to my baby? My EIGHT month old baby? Why is she trying to grow up so quickly!?!?!

Way to go Mia! When Aspen running around and having fun I can't blame her for wanting to get moving so quickly! Good luck!

I used to think it was all cool to have an early moving baby. Now I would rather they wait longer. Regarding the binky, I just took it away and dealt with the crying. The earlier you make the change, the better. Chet bawled for a month without it and nap time was a total chore. Jaisey's adjusted just fine. I sing her a song and hold her close and then I just lay her down. She cries and complains, but eventually falls asleep.

Oh she is getting so big! I remember that stage where they learn to stand up. Haley could stand but couldn't get to sitting, so it took forever to get her to sleep. It was cute, but a pain to have to keep going in to her room to help her down. Mia is such a cutie!
