I definitely need a trip to the beach! So this picture is Hawaii...somewhere I have wanted to go all my life....isn't it beautiful? Someday I'll get there.....but in the meantime, I need a beach, any beach. One thing I really miss about living in the Northwest is being 2 hours from the coast....even though its always cold and the water is frigid, its so beautiful and I love it. I used to go ALL the time and just relax and play and it was great. Its been almost 2 years since I've been to ANY beach at all....and I'm having serious withdrawals...its so sad. There's something so wonderful about the ocean air and sand between your toes. And the romance of the sunset over the ocean....you can't beat it. i hear you ~ ~ loud and clear! When your girls get a little older (and/or born) and you take them to the park, find a sunny corner in the sand, bury your feet - packing them tightly, and close your eyes for a minute! It does wonders!!
Amen to that! I've been missing the beach too. I haven't been in about 3 years - since our honeymoon. Hopefully we'll make it to the east coast this summer.
