Man, this has been a crazy hectic couple of weeks for us. We found out two weeks ago, after lots of worrying on my part and lots of blood work, stool samples, even an endoscopy, that Aspen has Celiac Disease. So we've spent the last two weeks trying to figure out all that goes into a gluten-free diet for little Aspen. She is already feeling so much better - SO MUCH! The color is returning to her face, she's stopped losing weight, her happy temperment has returned - along with lots of giggles. :) We are very grateful that we caught this early so we can get it under control and she will feel so much better. :) She's such a sweet girl and its been really hard on all of us to watch her being so sick and not knowing how to help, or even what was wrong. So we're on the way up! :)
AND....Aspen had her first dentist visit last week. YAY! Ok, so I know I have an obsession with teeth - I should have been a dentist or something. And Aspen loves teeth, too. She did great at the dentist and she has 16 wonderful, healthy, great teeth. :) All her tooth-brushing has paid off so far.

It's good that you have found the problem! There's nothing worse for a mom than knowing her baby is sick but not knowing why. What kind of diet does she have to be on?
Wow- I am soo sorry to hear that she has that disease:( I bet that is really hard for you- have you talked to Erin for some tips? I am soo happy you guys found out the problem- so Aspen could start feeling better!
