Then we went home and my friend Aeranee, who is in town for a week with us, watched Aspen and Mia while Malo and I went to dinner at Red Lobster. Malo had their never ending shrimp and the boy seriously devoured 8 or 9 orders of shrimp! Yikes! :) But he loves shrimp (I don't know why!!! ew!) and it was what he wanted to do. Then we went back home and had ice-cream cake. Here is the birthday boy and his cake, then him making a wish and blowing out his candles! :-P
So it was a pretty laid back birthday for his 30th, but that's how he wanted it. We are so grateful for Malo. His girls love him to pieces and his wife does, too!

Sorry but I'm flabbergasted...is it seriously chilly enough for long sleeves and jackets there? Man, I wish I were there! We went for a bike ride today in 104 degrees! Ok, sorry to detract....Happy Birthday...again.
Happy Birthday Malo! I think having fun with the kids and then sneaking out to dinner is the perfect way to celebrate. With three girls who absolutely adore you, what more could a guy ask for?
