Stop crying, please!
So Aspen absolutely HATES when Mia cries. If Mia is within Aspen's reach, she will go up to her and try to stick her fingers in Mia's mouth - I'm thinking her thought process is that her fingers sooth her when she's sad, so they must sooth her sister, too, right? :) And if that doesn't work, Aspen just screams louder than Mia cries, as if to block out the sound of her crying. Its not a sad scream, or even a mad scream, its just a LOUD noise! SO I caught a picture of it the other day and it cracks me up everytime I look at it. I think perhaps I am a bad mom because I laugh at a picture of Mia crying and Aspen screaming to drown out the crying...but its one of my favorite pictures ever! :)

That is hilarious! Don't you wonder what they're thinking when they're trying to "help"?
You are not a bad mom for laughing at your girls! Believe me, sometimes I think that is the only way I can get through the day. When my kids are "struggling" and I've had it, I just have to look around at my chaotic house and life and either laugh or cry. (It depends on the day which one I decide to do :o)
I hope that things are starting to calm down a little bit. Is your mom still in town? After she leaves, make sure to let me know so I can plan a few "play dates" with Aspen. (I would volunteer to take Mia, but I don't think Claira would do well with that. Not only is she the jealous type, but lately she demands all of my attention, as well! I'm pretty sure she's spoiled. I remember reading that babies can't be spoiled, but I beg to differ...)
Ahhh! Aspen is such a sweet big sissy! It's like she's trying to help Mia get your attention...I think it's cute! And by the way...I have those moments of laughter at odd times too.
Completely sweet and so funny! If you can't beat 'em, join 'em! That is a great life lesson that Aspen will benefit from knowing so young! :)
That is so funny! She's not used to someone being louder than her! It's the beginning of a beautiful sibling rivalry!
So cute!! (Okay, to the people not in the room...) :o) And, no, you are not a bad mom for laughing - just a MOM! :o) This is one of the perks!
That is hilarious! I don't think you're a bad mom at all. We were at the park a couple weeks ago with my nephew and Caden and they started fighting over a shoe... screaming, yanking.... it was so funny. The good moms we were, we just sat and laughed and took pictures. And how sweet is it that Aspen tries to soothe her little sister. I love it. Two girls sound like so much fun! Good luck!
