I finally got to hear Blobby's heartbeat today! My last doctor's appt it just wouldn't work. We saw the heartbeat on ultrasound the last two ultrasounds, but this was different. It was so amazing to hear that fast heartbeat and have it confirmed again that there really, truly is a human being growing inside of me. That probably sounds so dumb, but sometimes it just doesn't feel real. But between the ultrasounds and hearing the heart beating away today, I'm feeling good about everything! :-) I actually cried when I heard it today....felt like a dork, but it was so special. We'll find out next month if Blobby is a boy or a girl.
My doctor also gave me two prescriptions to help with the throwing up. I had to leave him alone in the room with Aspen while I ran to the bathroom and threw up....then he asked me some questions and gave me meds. So hopefully that will help some. :)
Anyway, that's about all I know for now. :)

Gotta love it! It's so nice when the doctor finally realizes that when you say you're puking "a lot" you mean "A LOT"!
I cried too. It's all a part of the wonderful experience.
Don't worry about crying...we all do. It's just so amazing and sureal, there's nothing like it. I'm so excited for you! Congrats on getting some meds too, hopefully they'll help! :)
Talk about "case in point" when it comes to asking for meds for throwing up... Good timing!! It is truly a miracle that a blob of cells can really turn into a sweet little baby! I can't wait for your "it's a _______" blog!
I just want to know where you came up with Blobby!! That is too funny! Hope the meds work. I'm so excited for you. (even though you're sick as a dog!) What a miracle!
I'm w/ Gretchen. Blobby is soo funny! Whenever I'm pregnnt, Ron always calls ours "Cletus the Fetus." :o)
Hang in there on the adoption stuff!! As Malo said today, it's all just technicalities (did I spell that right?) now. :o)
Blobby is hilarious! "Cletus the Fetus" poster-I thought my husband only knew of that-must be a man thing! We named our "feti"(of course that is plural for fetus) Otis, Oscar, and deciding that I was getting boys from their womb names, we went with Olly for the last one...it worked, we got Avery!
I am soo Happy you got to hear the heartbeat- that is sooo exciting- it doesn't feel real for me either until I heard the heartbeat or saw the ultrasound!! I am soo happy that everything is going along so well!!!
