Sad, tired baby :(

For anyone who has met my amazing Aspen, you know that she is an incredibly happy, easy going, laid back HAPPY baby...but the poor girl the last few days has been so sad. She hasn't been sleeping at all during the day and has been wanting to be held or talked to all through the day since Monday. If I'm not holding her and/or talking to her, she is crying (even carrying her in a snugli doesn't work.) I have felt so badly for her; she even has been crying when she's asleep....so I finally called the dr today and they wanted her to come in, (even the nurse said, "I can't believe she's fussy, Aspen is the happiest baby I know) and she has some inflammation in her ear and they think that is what is causing her to be so sad. So they gave her some meds and now she is finally sleeping! Poor girl.

She is SO darn cute! I love the little lip. Sorry to hear she's sad, but glad to hear that modern medicine will help take care of it!

She is the cutest little sad baby! I hope she gets all better soon. Give her a kiss from Aunt Ess and I'm sure she'll be back to her chipper self in no time!

What a cute sad face! Even when she's sad, she's sweet. I think sick, sad babies are the worst! Nothing breaks your heart more...

Oh, that is such a sad face. She is still VERY cute! It's alsways so sad when little babies are sick and must be so frustrating for them to not be able to talk about what hurts. You're a good mom and smart to take her in to the doctor. I hope she feels better soon.

Poor sweet baby. I'm glad you figured out what was wrong! It's hard, isn't it? They can't tell you what's wrong...you just have to guess. Poor baby. You made it through the first 'sickness' though...good job mom!!!
